I'm Basis's Managing Director. I know a bit about agile, service-design, new ways of working and facilitation. I use this knowledge to help people collaborate and do great work in challenging circumstances. My mission is to make all of Basis's work human, meaningful and impactful.
I’m a human-centred public servant passionate about (re)designing systems and services to improve people’s lived realities. I enjoy helping public services better meet the needs of citizens and the organisations that deliver them.
I am a trained public health professional, passionate about working across systems to find solutions to complex problems. I’m a big believer in working collaboratively to create long lasting, impactful change to people’s lives.
Before Basis I worked on achieving effective people-centred children’s social care services in Greater Manchester. I’m driven by a need to make sense of complex ideas and thrive on translating these into practice to improve people’s lives.
I am passionate about having a sustained positive impact on the world around me. My background in Industrial Organisational psychology helps me to bring this passion to life as I aim to make things easier and better for individuals, teams and organisations.
Having just graduated from a Business course, I understand the importance of a user centered approach that enables a team to provide value to themselves and their stakeholders.
I have a passion for enabling transformational change that sticks; turning ideas into effective practice and behaviours.
I came to Basis having worked in the UK charity sector for a decade. Problem solving and supporting people without forgetting the bigger picture are what drives me.
I like to expand the social impact of organisations with clever marketing and communication. I want to help people and make the world around me a little more beautiful. By developing new products and services, making important things visible, and generating attention for new initiatives.
With a background as a senior level creative and working collaboratively with brands to make social media work for them, I now join Basis with the drive to put our message out there and get things done.
I am passionate about helping teams and organisations tackle complex challenges with confidence. I am particularly excited about adaptive management, systems thinking, and multi-partner collaboration
I’ve been doing Agile, Service Design and Prototyping for many years now, all over the world. It's a way of working that really excites me. What really makes me tick is knowing that I help people to deliver better services that improve people’s lives.
I'm a service designer and researcher who specialises in participatory and co-productive ways of working to change the balance of power about who's voices influence the design of services and systems. I'm a fluent Welsh speaker and love the challenge of bilingual facilitation!
I am an experienced strategic leader with a track record of delivering organisational set-up and growth to enable the delivery of improved outcomes for all ages. I have a deep knowledge of the national children’s services agenda including children in care and family poverty issues.
I have a life-long commitment to coaching and developing leaders in NGO’s because the sector is thirsty for great leadership capacity. My focus is on one’s talents, potential and capacities, not oil leaks. If we start here, life gets better and leading is more fun. I am originally from Seattle, but now I live and work everywhere.
I thrive in challenging projects having applied myself in roles at the UK's most demanding organisations, and recently in a leadership position working with local government on a major post-apartheid public services innovation project in Cape Town, South Africa.
I have a passion for enabling transformational change that sticks; turning ideas into effective practice and behaviours.
