This really has been a journey and it’s testament to our amazing team that we’ve been listed for the fourth year running as one of the Financial Times Top Management Consultants, appearing in three categories: Public & social sector, Organisation & change and People & performance. We really couldn’t be prouder!
So how did we get here? In 2000, when we started working with early versions of Agile it suddenly clicked. Eureka!
Chief Executive Dennis Vergne said; ‘A more agile change is more intuitive and effective in public and social sector services. Services start improving when you co-develop prototypes and gain fast feedback from citizens. At least, that was my hypothesis, and I was keen to develop, try, test, and hone it.
My journey wasn’t straightforward, but thankfully I found some fellow travellers who are equally passionate about ‘changing the change’ for public services; Matt Barnaby (also a former youth worker), Rebecca Roberts and later Joseph Badman. Many others joined, and together as Basis ltd, we honed the practice and have proven its impact.
That journey has taken 22 years, and it is not finished.’
So our win has encouraged us that our initial hypothesis was correct.
For four consecutive years, we’ve been selected as leading consultants in three categories, recognised by peers and clients .
We’re as always, very grateful to the whole team, and especially our clients.
